Help, I'm turning into cookie monster!
I have unfortunately, developed this bad habit of snacking in between meals. I think this started because I am constantly hungry! Like clockwork my stomach would start growling at 11a.m. and 4p.m.!
It is so annoying because sometimes I get so hungry that I can't concentrate on what I am doing. I've tried heavy breakfast with lots of fibre but it doesn't help. Then I end up snacking on biscuits in the office which is really unhealthy and adds up to unnecessary excess calories I need to burn up on top of the darn layer of fat I still need to shave off myself.
So, today I vow to stop this unhealthy snacking habit indefinitely! No more biscuits, junk snacking in between meals! I've also come up with a plan to achieve this!
1. Throw out all junk - out of sight, out of mind principle
2. Snack on an apple or other fruits or handful of nuts (although it's easy to go overboard with nuts, pun not intended)
3. Drink more water, sometimes feeling hungry is just your body's way of telling you to drink more!
4. Have a salad at lunch (but this is a bit tough, I need to start packing my own salad for lunch); and lastly
5. Sheer willpower!!
I will start with this for one week and see how I fare on this plan! Say no to mindless snacking, cookie monster be gone!
I used to snack like crazy and that added to my waist. It took all of my will power to quit and it wasn't easy but I'm glad that I survived through it ... LOL! Happy Feet
